Neither of us really knew what to expect when we sat down in the bunker to watch Stuart Beattie's adaptation of Kevin Grevioux's graphic novel. We weren't really expecting to see the story of what happened to Frankenstein's creation in the 200 or so years after Mary Shelley put down her pen. And we definitely weren't expecting to find him in the middle of a war between demons and gargoyles.
