Dystopia E22: Anime Special - Akira (1988) & Metropolis (2001)

It's an Anime Special! We explore the world of Japanese animation once again and it's use of sci-fi tropes. This time we look at the dystopian aspects of Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira from 1988 and Rintaro's adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's manga Metropolis from 2001.
